About Us
Brooklyn Motors is an authentic New York brand inspired by the rich history of motorcycling in Brooklyn. On September 7, 1903, the same year that Harley-Davidson produced their first motorcycle, the Kings County Wheelmen of Brooklyn, New York, met with a variety of well-known motorcyclists to establish the Federation of American Motorcyclists – a forerunner of the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA). This event marked the beginning of a long-standing tradition of motorcycling in the city and Brooklyn has been home to many famous motorcyclists and host to numerous motorcycle events and rallies over the years.
Some of the most notable motorcyclists from Brooklyn include Evel Knievel, Mike Hailwood, Bob Hansen, and Dave Campos. These legendary riders have inspired generations of motorcyclists and have made a lasting impact on the sport.
Today, our premium quality products pay homage to this rich heritage and celebrate the motorcycling culture. Our first T-shirt line was launched in Spring 2010, quickly gaining popularity for its unique designs, durability, and softness. Our designs are inspired by the history of motorcycling and the city of Brooklyn and are a perfect way to show your love and appreciation for the culture.
We are dedicated to being eco-friendly, using vegan, chemical-free water-based ink and our Direct to Garment printing process is energy-efficient, reducing waste and our carbon footprint. Each item in our catalog is made on-demand, ensuring that we only produce what is needed, avoiding overproduction and reducing our impact on the environment.
